This is a pretty good caffeine free alternative to coffee. It's easy to brew in a French press. It has a complex bitter flavor with lots of flavor. It's not coffee, and it doesn't taste like coffee, but it does a good job standing in for coffee. I'm fact, flavor wise I prefer it to coffee. It also works well in coffee like mixed drinks like lattes and mochas. It's a wonderful late afternoon drink, and it's nice to have a morning cuppa even when avoiding caffeine. Two tsp of mixture per 8 oz of boiling water makes a very strong flavorful drink.

This is made just like a fine loose leaf tea so its very easy to make one cup at a time.The image on the bagbis misleading as it is a very dark liquid, you need to add creamer to get a creamy consistency or flavor.I drink both coffee and tea and I'd say the flavor is right between them both but a little closer to a light tea flavor. Especially because you don't get the strong coffee aroma that adds to the usual coffee drinking experience.I like that this has a lot of health benefits and will keep it in my drink rotation. I especially love that it is caffeine free so I can drink it day or night.
