IconFAQs

Does it taste like coffee?

Our herbal coffee alternative offers a dark, rich, toasty, earthy, and nutty flavor. While it does not taste exactly like coffee, it has a robust flavor that softens and sweetens dramatically with the addition of something creamy. It holds up well to milk and cream, similar to traditional coffee, and boasts a complex flavor profile that many find uniquely satisfying.

Is this safe to drink during pregnancy?

Our coffee alternative is crafted from chicory, carob, and dandelion—all ingredients recognized as GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe). However, every pregnancy is unique. We recommend consulting with a healthcare provider to determine if our product suits your individual dietary needs during pregnancy.

Are your products made in a nut-free facility?

Our products do not contain peanuts. However, they are manufactured in a facility that processes tree nuts, including almonds and coconut, as well as eggs, flax, and soy on the same production line. We take steps to prevent cross-contamination, but it's important for those with severe allergies to consider this information.

Tasting Notes Velvety, smooth, rich
Warm, aromatic, and mellow with a tiny hint of sweetness - that's how we like our mornings, and that's exactly what our French Vanilla brings!

Could use a little . . . More.

It’s not bad at all. It could just use a little more, uh, flavor. It’s plenty tasty, but the vanilla doesn’t come through as strongly as it might.

Wonderful !

Perfect vanilla flavor , my favorite coffee substitute ! If you like the flavor of a vanilla coffee you will like this. It does not taste like dirt or need constant stirring to avoid separation like other coffee alternatives .

Great taste

I love the flavor and the closeness of the taste to coffee however I do not like fooling with the loose grinds. Please offer this product in tea bags!

French Vanilla Herbal Coffee Alternative (Tea) FAQs

What is Sip Herbals French Vanilla Tea, and how is it different from regular coffee?

Direct Answer: Sip Herbals French Vanilla Tea is a roasted herbal blend made from organic roots and carob that tastes like a creamy vanilla latte—but without coffee or caffeine.

Depth: Crafted with organic chicory root, roasted dandelion root, ground vanilla beans, roasted carob, and sea salt, it delivers a warm, roasty flavor with real vanilla aroma. It’s technically a tea, but it brews like a coffee alternative—full-bodied, comforting, and naturally caffeine-free.

Real Results: Customers call it their “daily vanilla latte ritual” that keeps the taste but drops the crash.

Takeaway: A French vanilla latte in tea form—roasted, rich, and bean-free.

Does French Vanilla Tea have caffeine?

Direct Answer: No—Sip Herbals French Vanilla Tea is 100% caffeine-free.

Depth: Unlike French vanilla black teas or chai teas, this herbal blend uses roasted chicory and dandelion roots instead of coffee or tea leaves. These roasted roots deliver natural depth without caffeine’s stimulation, making it ideal for evening rituals.

Real Results: Many fans switch from coffee to Sip Herbals to enjoy a relaxing cup that supports better sleep and smoother digestion.

Takeaway: All the flavor, none of the caffeine—perfect for any time of day.

How does Sip Herbals compare to Bigelow or Twinings French Vanilla Tea?

Direct Answer: Sip Herbals delivers a richer, roasted flavor and a creamy vanilla finish—more like a latte than a tea bag.

Real Results: Customers say it feels like a “French vanilla cappuccino” without the buzz.

Takeaway: Where others offer tea, Sip Herbals offers the coffee alternative experience.

What does French Vanilla Tea taste like?

Direct Answer: Smooth, roasty, and slightly sweet—like a creamy vanilla cappuccino made from plants.

Depth: The roasted chicory and dandelion roots give it a deep, coffee-like base, while roasted carob adds gentle chocolate notes. Real ground vanilla beans layer in warmth and aroma, balanced by a pinch of sea salt for roundness.

Real Results: Fans say it’s “like dessert in a mug,” especially with frothed milk.

Takeaway: Vanilla latte flavor, herbal foundation, zero caffeine.

How do I brew French Vanilla Tea for the best flavor?

Direct Answer: Use 1–2 tablespoons per 8 ounces of water and steep for 7–10 minutes.

Depth:

  • Stovetop simmer: 10 minutes for a stronger, espresso-style body.
  • Latte version: Brew double strength and add steamed oat milk with a drizzle of maple.
  • Real Results: Customers love the creamy foam-topped version—it’s a caffeine-free vanilla latte dream.
  • Takeaway: Treat it like coffee, enjoy it like tea.

Is Sip Herbals French Vanilla Tea safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Takeaway: A soothing, caffeine-free swap—double-check if pregnant or nursing.
